Power Point: Can the Federal Debt Be Repaid?

Here is a power point I gave last night at an American Freedom Alliance event in Los Angeles on  whether the federal debt can be repaid (yes), how it can be repaid (by simply issuing the money), and why that would stimulate the economy without leading to hyperinflation.  Ellen

  1. This seems strait forward enough. Why are politicians SO fixated on the current situation, where all new money springs from higher and higher debt. Are they ALL stupid, or Corrupted?

  3. FANTASTIC !!!!
Will the voters believe you, maybe, perhaps but more likely they will not ?
You have absolutely proven…interest is the devil in the details.
You only speculate “there will be no inflation, or super inflation..”,while depositing over $18 trillion into banks, both foreign and domestic.
Using the same theories that have been unable to predict inflation or even see it coming !
Why give the top 10% some $15 trillion in cash and some foreign countries some $3 trillion?
Why, when you have already solved the problem, absolutely guaranteeing no inflation …..CALL ALL BONDS, restructure them to be paid off $1 trillion per year with a fixed rate of 0.25%.
This year alone we will be paying close to $1 trillion in interest, an entitlement to the top 10%, or do you know any one of the 130 million American (42%) in poverty that are receiving this distribution from their bank or fund?
YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT CHURCH, PLEASE SET UP TO THE FRONT PEW.
Can the debt be paid ?
Absolutely, yes. Change one line in the budget.
Debt service shall be Debt reduction.
    Yes, “It’s Our Money”

    • Correction:
Why not use a proven method, yes an already proven method that absolutely guarantees no inflation …..CALL ALL BONDS ? Restructure the bonds to be paid off $1 trillion per year with a fixed rate of 0.25%.

      • Sure, I agree with that. The $2.7T owed to the Fed doesn’t have to be paid; it can just be voided out. The rest has to be paid, even if owed to the wealthy — the Constitution says all debts will be honored and paid on time — but the bonds could be called and the debt could be paid early with debt-free US Notes or coins.
